Editorial Policy
Muscle Mass Building publishes educational material about resistance training, muscle gain, nutrition and sports supplements. Our aim is to make useful evidence understandable without presenting general information as individualized medical advice.
How we develop guidance
For claims that depend on scientific evidence, we prioritize systematic reviews, meta-analyses, position stands, consensus statements and peer-reviewed research. We also distinguish between evidence-supported conclusions and practical coaching judgments where research cannot answer every individual question.
Evidence is not certainty
Exercise and nutrition research has limitations. Study populations, training status, measurement methods and intervention length can affect results. We avoid implying that a single study establishes a universal rule and update important pages when evidence or consensus materially changes.
Authors, reviewers and credentials
We do not claim professional credentials unless the individual contributor and relevant credential can be identified and verified. Pages that receive specialist review should identify that reviewer. Until a named expert has reviewed a page, it should not imply medical, dietetic or clinical review.
Health and safety
Our content is general education. Pain, injury, medical conditions, medications, pregnancy, eating-disorder history and other individual circumstances can change what advice is appropriate. Readers should seek qualified professional care when a decision falls outside general fitness education.
Commercial relationships
Commercial relationships should not determine our conclusions. Where affiliate links or other material relationships exist, they are disclosed. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
Corrections and updates
We aim to correct substantive factual errors and update high-value evergreen guides as needed. If you spot an error or a claim that needs stronger sourcing, contact us.
